Anna Shahbazyan

Anna Shahbazyan is originally from Armenia. She started Ballroom dancing at the age of 14. She moved to the US in 2000 where she pursued her career as a professional dancer while continuing her education at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) majoring in psychology and later earning her Masters Degree.

Currently, she not only teaches dancing but also works with children with Autism and other developmental and learning disabilities. She was the reciepiant of the Community Serivce Award in 2016 by NDCA, for her contribution to the community as an ambassador of dance. She is also organizer of City Lights Open.

Anna was a World Smooth and British Open Professional Smooth finalist, US Rising Star International Ballroom finalist, and US National Rising Star Smooth vice-champion.
