When Derecho was merely a dream in our heads, Mark signed on as one of our first educators. No matter the crazy idea or the unfathomable dream, Mark always backed us and supported us no questions asked.

Mark epitomized what we hope Derecho Dancesport will become. A friendly face, people who know your name and a celebration for a shared passion. He loved being in the ballroom and loved seeing his "family" succeed.

Mark will always be an Educator of Derecho Dancesport as we continue to honor his memory and legacy in our beloved industry. His genuine love for dance and the people in this industry, exemplify what we can strive for in our Derecho community.
